Endophthalmitis: The severe inflammation of the tissues present inside the eyes. Symptoms include Inflammation in eyes, red eyes, pus from eyes and vision loss.
Acanthamoeba keratitis: A rare disease in which bacteria or parasites enter the cornea. Symptoms include eye redness, pain in eyes, feels like something present in eyes, liquid discharge from eyes, blurred vision

For diagnosis of eye infections, you need to go through a comprehensive eye exam. During the exam, the doctor will screen your eyes and will take some tests to determine the type of infection. If needed, he will prescribe you with antiviral eye drops or oral medication.
