Dr JENCY ELAKKATT OD

Dr. Jency M. Elakkatt OD is a female optometrist in Illinois and grew up in Elmhurst, IL. She got her Bachelors degree in Biology from Elmhurst College where she graduated with High Honors.

She was the recipient of the coveted Harvey De Bruin Award. She completed her Doctor of Optometry degree at Illinois College of Optometry in 2001. She has examined over 25,000 patients.

Dr. Elakkatt provides Comprehensive eye exams, Routine eye exams for glasses and contact lenses, foreign body removal, treatment of medical eye problems such as red eye, eye allergies and dry eyes. She offers screening Retinal photos as part of a comprehensive eye exam to detect and monitor any changes in the eye related to age, diabetes, high blood pressure, and other systemic diseases.

Dr. Elakkatt’s past patients range in age from as young as 3 years old to as mature as 90 years old. She pursues excellence in delivering eye care to enhance and preserve vision for the entire family. She is a member of AOA and IOA.

Dr. Elakkatt enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She enjoys listening to music and singing along. She loves to travel and has visited 5 continents and hopes to see all 7 some day.
